Welcome

We are pleased you have an interest in the West Branch Learning Tree homeschool cooperative!

What is a Homeschool Cooperative?

homeschool co-op is a group of families who meet together and work cooperatively to achieve common goals.

The activities and classes that are part of our co-op are led by parents who attend. West Branch Learning Tree homeschool cooperative is NOT a drop-off co-op. We require parental attendance and involvement for all members.

(We do have some guest teachers who teach for us that do not have children participating. We appreciate these teachers very much, but the majority of our schedule is taught by attending parents.)

We are at capacity for the 2024-25 school year. If you're interested in being on our waitlist for next year you can email us here: [email protected] Please specify the ages your children will be for the 2025-26 school year when asking to join the waitlist. A survey and questionnaire about the next school year will be sent out to prospective members in the spring of 2025 as we prepare for a new year.

We are a large (200+ students) cooperative and our waitlist is NOT first come, first served. Whether families can be admitted is based on class availability, children's ages, and other factors. We are committed to keeping class sizes manageable.

When you ask to join our waitlist you are added to our email list. We contact waitlist names via email with a questionnaire to gauge your interest and ability to join our co-op. This questionnaire is just one tool we use to help move as many waitlist families to active membership as we can each school year.

Waitlisted families will be contacted as space is available after current members and new members who are teaching are registered. Please watch your email closely during registration week because decisions will be made quickly!

Classes and schedule are subject to change until registration is complete. Because our classes are taught by attending members, the schedule is dependent on member participation.

See our FAQ and / or Handbook to answer many common questions. Please note that we do have a statement of faith all teachers must agree to sign. We are a Christian co-op and expect classes to be taught from a Christian perspective.

The WBLT Board is made up of  homeschool moms who serve on the WBLT board as volunteers. WBLT does not have any full time staff or compensated employees.
